Early this morning, my sister Camila and I went to walk the farm...we walked every field, checked every gate and fence...
I brought her to "the other side" of the farm, which is the big woodland in the other side of the railway...a semi mature ash and pine forest planted in the late 80's, home of foxes, rabbits, badgers and deer. It's so big and dense that the sun barely pass through the foliage and the ground is bare as nothing grow without sunlight.
In some spots where light pass through you can see growing a very rare kind of moss, bright green and very soft at the touch.
Here you can see a photo of my red wellies and Camila's vintage wellies standing in that nice moss!
It's a magic place where silence is the king and ruler of the place, only interrupted by the wind.
A magical place to spend the last few hours with my beloved sister before she fly back to Argentina tomorrow evening.
I will miss her terribly...
Distance is a killer thing :(
